Our Story
Decks of Maine is led by two brothers who grew up in Maine, shaped by long winters, hard
work, and time spent learning the building trade from an early age. We learned what it means
to build things that have to last—not just look good for a season, but stand up to weather,
wear, and real use.
Our father was a skilled carpenter and business owner who taught us the trade diligently—the
importance of careful planning, solid structure, and pride in workmanship. Before him, our
grandfather built his own business the same way—through consistency, honesty, and respect
for the craft. Three generations, each passing down not just tools and techniques, but the
values that make good work possible.
Working side by side today, we carry forward what was entrusted to us—traditional building
principles, responsible business practices, and a genuine commitment to serve homeowners
