Our Story
We grew up in Maine, shaped by long winters, hard work, and time spent on job sites instead of behind screens. From an early age, we learned what it means to build things that have to last—not just look good for a season, but stand up to weather, wear, and real use.
Our father is a skilled carpenter and business owner who taught us the trade the right way: careful planning, solid structure, and pride in workmanship. Before him, our grandfather built his own business the same way—through consistency, honesty, and respect for the craft. Three generations, each passing down not just tools and techniques, but the values that make good work possible.
Today, Decks of Maine is led by two brothers who share a strong family bond and a deep respect for the trade they were raised in. Working side by side, we carry forward what was entrusted to us—traditional building principles, responsible business practices, and a genuine desire to serve homeowners throughout Maine.
